To a parent, the uncertainty of loosing a child is about the worst thing that could happen. KinderID enables you to locate and reunite with your lost child, anywhere in the world.
KinderID is a Norwegian developed safety service.
To start using KinderID you will need to buy a KinderID product, from either our webshop or from a retailer.
Yes our app is completely free, no monthly fee or hidden costs and we never ask for any payment information in the app.
If your child is using KinderID it simply shows its wristband to an adult, on the wristband it says «If found go to Kinder-ID.com. Type in: (your ID number)».
The adult then enters our web platform and types in the ID from the child’s wristband and their mobile number. Now the adult is connecting with the child’s parent, when the parent accept the request their devices connects. They both receive each others last map position detailing each others location and can easily communicate, meet and reunite.
First you’ll need to download the KinderID App from AppStore or Google Play. Then register your profile. To add your KinderID product press «Add KinderID».
To add your 2 guardian SMS contacts go to the settings menu in the KinderID App. Scroll down and type in 2 numbers of your choice. Press «Update» to save your settings. Be sure to start the number with the correct country code and ask for permission from the numbers owner in advance.
To change your email, mobile number, name and password go to the settings menu. Click «Update» after you have updated your information to save the changes.
The symbols are made to easily show you what type of KinderID product the ID number is. If the symbol for example is a wristband then the registered ID number is a KinderID Safety Wristband.
The activation code is a code that verifies your product ID. The activation code is connected to the ID number in advance and the ID number needs to match the verification code for the KinderID product to be registered.
If you have ordered your KinderID product from our webshop you receive your activation code on email. If you have bought your KinderID product from a retailer or partner you should receive the activation code from them upon ordering.

KinderID is an international service which can be used all over the world. The service works as long as you have a wifi or cellular connection. The service may be unavailable in the following countries: Belarus, Burma, China, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
We ship to almost every country and charge s 29NOK shipping fee. We do not ship to the following countries: Belarus, Burma, China, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
Due to our half automatic storage we are able to ship all the orders the same day as they are received. Our standard freight option is international express freight. Normal delivery time is 2-7 working days depending on which country you live in. Some delay may occur in special cases.
Yes you can buy all KinderID products as gifts. Just print and attach the activation code in your gift package.
Yes you can add unlimited amount of KinderID products to your app profile. Just press «Add KinderID» and type in the details asked for.
If someone has selected you as their guardian you can reach out to the finder by calling the number in the SMS received from us.
If your not familiar with KinderID and don’t know why you have received the SMS please contact us in the Help Center.
If you forget your password press «forgot password» in the app, then enter your email. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password.
Go to settings in the app. Scroll down. Press «Delete profile». Remember that if you delete your profile all KinderID products will be deleted and no longer work, this action can not be regretted.
You’ll need to buy a new from our webshop or from a retailer or partner. You can update your ID number by pressing «Update» on the selected KinderID product in your app profile.

Please contact customer service HERE. You need to pay for the return freight to us and the new shipping fee (29NOK). Remember that we only accept to chance a product that has no damage at all. If the product has any damage you will get 2 options: Have the original product sent back to you and pay the new shipping fee, or pay for a new product plus new shipping cost.
